SACDI is a Pan-African non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting African cultural heritage, advancing education, and strengthening Africa’s unique identity as a foundation for sustainable development.
We work across communities, borders, and generations to ensure that Africa’s stories, knowledge systems, and values are preserved, celebrated, and leveraged for meaningful progress.
Looking ahead, SACDI envisions becoming a hub for social innovation in Africa, where diversity is celebrated as a strength and development initiatives are designed to reflect the realities and aspirations of the people they serve.
We remain proud of our roots as The Africana Assembly, but even more excited about the journey ahead as Summit for Social Development and African Cultural Diversity Initiative (SACDI) – a name that captures both our ambition and our unwavering commitment to building a stronger, more inclusive Africa.
