Africana Voices is SACDI’s flagship virtual platform dedicated to celebrating and amplifying African perspectives. It serves as an avenue for storytellers, cultural advocates, creators, and thought leaders to share insights that preserve, promote, and redefine African identity and heritage. Through conversations, storytelling, and knowledge exchange, Africana Voices advances SACDI’s vision of fostering an African society that stands as a beacon of pride, unity, and sustainable development.
This first edition — themed “Promoting African Voices: How African Storytellers Are Shaping The African Culture” — seeks to amplify conversations around how African voices are
reclaiming their place in global storytelling, media, and cultural preservation.

Olumide Frederick Adetiba is an accomplished social impact leader, transformation specialist and advocate for good governance, who works at the intersection of faith, leadership, governance and development.
As the Co-founder and Executive Director of the Madiba Foundation for Good Governance, he champions social equity through development initiatives focused on advancing marginalized groups across Africa, while driving youth leadership development and strengthening civic participation.
Throughout his career, Olumide has meticulously honed his skills in various domains, including human resource management, human capital development, administration, operations management, organizational development, and finance. His expertise extends to business development, project management, and navigating the intricacies of media management and relations.
Olumide's academic background includes a Diploma in Social Work for Development and a BSc. in Sociology from the University of Jos, Nigeria. He furthered his studies with a Master's degree in Sociology from Stellenbosch University, South Africa, and a professional diploma in Human Resource Management from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria.
Joy Amarachi is an early childhood educator, researcher, and founder of Joyful Learners, an educational brand committed to creating innovative, culturally relevant learning resources for African children.
Through Joyful Learners, she created Mara Asụsụ Igbo, an initiative dedicated to preserving the Igbo language through innovative educational resources such as talking books, talking flashcards, and other hands-on learning materials that encourage independent learning and strengthen children’s connection to their language and culture.
Joy’s mission is to transform early childhood education across Africa by developing innovative learning experiences that empower children, celebrate African heritage, and help preserve indigenous languages for future generations.
Johannesburg, Soweto-born, Phindile brings a strong Ubuntu-driven leadership philosophy, with exposure across Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, fostering collaboration, inclusion, and psychological safety.
A results-oriented Governance, Risk, and Product Leadership professional, Phindile Chirwa brings a distinctive blend of data governance expertise and product management acumen to management, board and advisory roles.
With an African context in mind, she bridges strategy and execution, translating complex
regulatory, data, and technology challenges into commercially viable product solutions.
Mkpouto Ema is a digital writer and African storyteller who crafts compelling narratives across digital platforms.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Theatre and Media Studies from the University of Calabar, Nigeria. Beyond writing, she has professional experience in Customer Relationship Management, a field that has deepened her understanding of human behaviour, communication, and the diverse experiences that shape communities.
Mkpouto enjoys engaging audiences in conversations about African literature, storytelling, creativity, and the importance of authentic African narratives in today's global literary landscape.
Kelly Onojoserio is a proud Urhobo man from Delta State.
He works as a field operations personnel with TotalEnergies and serves faithfully with the Living Faith Church aka Winners Chapel.
Mr Kelly has been married for 15+ years with 4 amazing kids.
